Ignore SystemOut.log messages when updating a deployed application using wsadmin scripting if the application updated successfully

Troubleshooting

Problem

When using the wsadmin scripting client to update an application that is currently deployed on a server, error messages might be written to the []SystemOut.log[] file. If the script contains a statement that deletes a module from the application, any subsequent update to the application within this script causes the error messages to appear in the []SystemOut.log[] file. The messages do not adversely affect deployment of the updated application. When the script finishes running, the application is updated correctly.

Symptom

Messages resembling the following example are written to the SystemOut.log file multiple times:

[11-10-13 15:13:01:603 GMT+08:00] 00000052  wtp E org.eclipse.jst.j2ee.commonarchivecore.internal.strategy.DirectoryLoadStrategyImpl collectFilesFromBinaries Failed to extract binaries to temporary location: Binaries files were not added!

Resolving The Problem

If the application updated correctly, you can safely ignore the error messages.
You can optionally install a fix pack for 7.0.0.25, 8.0.0.4, or 8.5.0.1 to resolve this issue. Refer to the Recommended Updates page for delivery information: http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg27004980
