Is there a way to add Attachment functionality into PR records at PRLINE level?

Answer

Yes, there is a way to add 'Attachment functionality' into PR records at PRLINE level.

Steps to achieve this requirement:

1. Go to the Database Configuration application

- Find the PRLINE object

- Go to Relationships tab

- Click 'New Row'

- Create a relationship "DOCLINKS" between PRLINE and DOCLINKS.




- Save.

2. Go to the Application Designer application

- Open the PR application

- Export it as PR.xml

- Open the PR.xml file

- Find <textbox dataattribute="prlinenum" ~

- Add one line

<attachments event="drviewattachments" id="prline_doclinks" menutype="drattachments" />

like below

- Save PR.xml

- Import PR.xml in Application Designer.

3. Go to the Purchase Requisitions application.

You can now see that the Attachments icon is available in PRLINE rows like below.





You can then add attached documents to PR lines.

NB: The same principle can be applied to RFQLINE, POLINE and INVOICELINE.
