Resolving the problem
Add the IP and hostname to the /etc/hosts file.
You can either add the host name to the end of the 127.0.0.1 line or add in a line with the external hostname.
Consider the following steps.
- Get the name of the service with the following command from Linux command line.
chkconfig --list | grep insight
- Delete the service with this command:
chkconfig --del <name of the service>
- Reboot the computer.
- Install Rational Insight.
