Terminal Extension shows Arabic text in wrong order

Problem(Abstract)

Attempts to record 1089 Arabic Arab Standards and Metrology Organization (ASMO) 708 code page with IBM Rational Functional Tester Extension for Terminal-based Applications result in a wrong order of the Arabic characters.

Symptom

Rational Functional Tester Extension displays a part that you expect on the left side of the screen on the right part of the screen.

Rational Functional Tester Extension displays numbered lists in Roman numbers, but you expect the lists in Arabic numbers.


Cause

The Rational Functional Tester Extension does not support 1089 Arabic ASMO 708 code page.

Resolving the problem

This issue has been identified as a request for enhancement (RFE) 29269.
