Troubleshooting
Problem
"FMF6019E Specified component list identifies an invalid object" error message is displayed for the fcmcli backup command when specifying the GUID volume name
Symptom
When running the below command:
fcmcli backup \\?\Volume{0b1c0a41-6c68-4524-bde2-74758513957f}\"
it reports following error:
FMF6019E Specified component list identifies an invalid object \\?\Volume{0b1c0a41-6c68-4524-bde2-74758513957f}\
Cause
The volume name that is entered is incorrect. For example, the name might be misspelled or the GUID volume name was used instead of a mount point or drive letter.
Environment
Diagnosing The Problem
Running the "mountvol" command will provide the GUID Volume name. However, the GUID volume name cannot be specified within the fcmcli command. The volume must be mounted and it must have either a driver letter or a mount point that can be specified. To identify the volumes that are available for backup, enter the following command:
fcmcli query component
