Problem(Abstract)
Unable to successfully upload files greater than 2 GB using Mailbox
Interface (MBI). The subsequent MBI ADD BP that is called after the upload fails with <ADVANCED>Mandatory Parameter Missing Error</ADVANCED> and BP Status Report post 'ERROR MailboxAddService - Caught exception of type [com.sterlingcommerce.woodstock.mailbox.MissingParameterException], with message [Required Parameter MailboxPath Missing]'.
Cause
There is a 2 GB file size limit uploading using Mailbox Interface (MBI) and this product limitation is not noted in the SI 5.2 documentation.
Resolving the problem
There are multiple solutions for uploading files >2GB, one is to use myfilegateway, this is the User Interface feature of Sterling File Gateway. In addition, you must also ensure that the browser you have selected to use supports uploads of files > 2GB. A request for a documentation update will be submitted.
Other solutions is to use FTP or SFTP protocols to upload large files.
