Problem
The following message is received during a backup/restore with the Tivoli Storage Manager for Virtual Environment Plugin GUI:
[]ERROR ANS1017E (RC-50) Session rejected: TCP/IP connection failure[]
Symptom
Resolving The Problem
- Make sure that you have a Tivoli Client Acceptor Service created for the DataMover nodename on the proxy node.
- If the Tivoli Client Acceptor Service is created, recycle the service.
