Abstract
General Availability of IBM Content Classification version 8.8 is 25 May 2012 for electronic availability and 15 June 2012 for media availability. Content Classification V8.8 (formerly IBM InfoSphere Classification Module) categorizes and organizes content by combining multiple methods of context-sensitive analysis.

Highlights of V8.8 include the following new features, primarily focused on ease of use, enhanced integration, and increased performance:
- Classification Quick Start Tool to help you get started with classification
- Classification Workbench enhancements including new rules templates and enhanced feedback and training
- Classification Center enhancements to help speed the reclassification and review process
- Performance enhancements to improve clustering within IBM Content Analytics with Enterprise Search
