Where can you find information regarding LSCX042 and LSCX042... There are several different tasks on one system ALL having the same allocation, Is this a definition problem?
These LSCXnnn messages are not from OMEGAMON; they are issued by the SAS/C compiler at Run-Time and are benign.
These messages are NOT from a configuration problem and can safely be ignored.
These messages are from the run time support libraries for our C code
and are quite normal. They are from the SAS/C Compiler, a non-IBM product.
You can get descriptions of these messages from SAS.COM at
the following URL...
Most C environments have a default storage allocation and in the case above, 32 megabytes for heap storage. In the ITM z/OS environment storage allocation does not go through the C heap. Instead there is a replacement C library, so things like malloc() and free() and ::new() get data via ITM CT/Engine routines.
Furthermore the SAS/C heap storage is allocated but not initialized so only a few bytes are brought into storage. It makes the page tables a bit larger but almost no effect on real memory usage.
