Problem
Error not found message for txmsgv84.cat
Symptom
The following error is encountered
'Could not find message 1003 in catalogue /mqsi/8.0.0.0 /messages/En_US/txmsgv84.cat'
Cause
The problem is caused due to change in the way Broker searches for catalog files. The V8 Broker does not look in the NLSPATH environment variable anymore but it looks in the directories in the MQSI_CONSOLE_NLSPATH environment variable.
Environment
Use WebSphere Transformation Extender v8.4 with WebSphere Message Broker v8.0
Diagnosing The Problem
The following error is encountered
'Could not find message 1003 in catalogue /mqsi/8.0.0.0 /messages/En_US/txmsgv84.cat '
Resolving The Problem
Export MQSI_CONSOLE_NLSPATH=<WTX install Dir>/wmqi/messages/En_US
or Obtain WTX 8.4.0.2 which contains a fix.
