Abstract
Deploying projects may fail after upgrading to Cast Iron Operating System version 5.0.1.8 from 4.x or earlier.

If the version of the Cast Iron Operating System (CIOS) currently running is 4.x or earlier and the plan is to upgrade to CIOS 5.0.1.8, contact IBM Support and let a member of the support team guide you through the upgrade process.
Deploying objects may fail with the following error:
Could not load project-inf.xml: /usr/ironhide/var/nanny/configs/<project>/<version>/<name>/meta-inf/project-inf.xml (No such file or directory).
A work around is available for this issue. Contact IBM Support to implement it. This requires logging into appliance shell.
Fresh installations of CIOS 5.x with subsequent upgrade to 5.0.1.8. will not experience this issue.
Upgrading from CIOS 4.x to 5.0.1.7 or earlier versions will not experience this issue.
