During the startup of a WebSphere Voice Response V4.2 system an error_id 14007 is logged and the trunks do not go into the InService state.
The WebSphere Voice Response errorlog file (in the $OAM_LOG_PATH directory) shows an error_id 14007: SMSI error opening tty device
- WebSphere Voice Response Channel Group system parameter, Signalling Process Type, is configured as SMSI/SMDI/VMS
- AIX V5.3 TL12 SP5 has been installed.
