TEM Console error when logging in "Message: class NoSuchSite"

Problem(Abstract)

Upon logging into TEM, the Console throws the error "Console Database Connection Error Connection database could not be completed. Diagnostic Message: class NoSuchSite."

Cause

This error is caused by a custom site being deleted and data remaining in the Console cache. In some instances the error can be caused by a problem in the database that was fixed in version 8.1.608

Diagnosing the problem

The error "Console Database Connection Error Connection database could not be completed. Diagnostic Message: class NoSuchSite." is received when logging into the TEM Console.

Resolving the problem

This issue can typically be resolved by manually clearing the TEM Console cache. Directions for doing so can be found here: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21505993

If clearing the cache manually does not rectify the issue it is recommended that the TEM Server and TEM Console be upgraded to at least version 8.1.608
