When the Tags portlet is configured to show the tags for a particular service and is placed with the respective service portlet on a portal page, by default it shows tags corresponding to the default view in the service portlet. But in the service portlets, default views can be changed by pinning the portlet to a specific view/content from the Edit Shared Settings mode. The default view is updated in the service portlet, but when the user returns to the portlets after saving the settings, the Tags portlet doesn't immediately show the updated tags based on the pinned view/content in the service portlet.
When a user changes the default view for a service portlet, for example by pinning a portlet to a specific view, and then switches to the tags portlet, the Tags portlet does not immediately show the tags associated with the updated view.
Resolving the problem
After saving the settings in the Edit Shared Settings mode of the service portlet, the usermust log out of Portal then log back in to see the refreshed/updated Tags in the Tags portlet which now correspond to the pinned view/content in the service portlet.
