Issue in Inventory Usage Application After Creating a Requisition

Troubleshooting


Problem

No entry is created for the work order's reservation.

Symptom

1. Go to Self Service > Create Requisition.

2. Create new Requisition with a work order attached. In this example the work order number is 1200, click Continue button.

3. Add a new row in the Requisition Line Items.

4. Click on the Continue button.

5. Click on the Submit button.

6. Click on View Details.

7. Go to Inventory > Inventory Usage and you have an entry which should have a Description Created for work order 1200, however no entry is created when there should be one.

Cause

Inventory Defaults flag might not be checked

Environment

Maximo 7.5.0

Resolving The Problem

1. Go to Administration --> Organizations.

2. Select Action --> Inventory Options --> Inventory Defaults.

3. Check the "Automatically create usage documents for new reservations".
