What is the impact of changing a field detail within a schema in a MultiSite environment?

Use case

In a Rational ClearQuest MultiSite environment, you need a ClearQuest administrator to apply changes in field data and not the field information itself.


Answer

This requirement should not be a complex task. You can do the task from the Rational ClearQuest client GUI.




Notes

  • Apply data changes on the site, where the record is mastered.

  • Apply only one change per time.

  • Then synchronize by only one user to avoid conflicts between sites.
