Troubleshooting
Problem
Attempts to open Plan result in an error message when using IBM Rational Team Concert web user interface.
Symptom
When you open plan in web interface you receive following error message:
TypeError: Cannot read property 'length' of undefined
Cause
There are invalid plan modes inside the process configuration
Diagnosing The Problem
- In Rational Team Concert Eclipse client open the project area Editor.
- Click on the Process Configuration Tab
- In the tree select "Project Configurations" --> "Configuration Date" -->"Planning" --> "Plan Views". This will list all the plan modes defined in the project area.
- Click on every project mode to check if you have the warning saying that the plan mode is invalid
Resolving The Problem
- Open the project area Editor.
- Click on the Process Configuration Tab
- In the tree select "Project Configurations" --> "Configuration Date" -->"Planning" --> "Plan Views". This will list all the plan modes defined in the project area.
- Remove all invalid plan modes.
