Abstract
IBM Business Process Manager V8.0 is a comprehensive and consumable business process management platform that provides visibility and management of your business processes.
IBM Business Monitor V8.0 allows IT to enable business users and managers to track their entire business operation on a single dashboard, receive alerts, and subsequently drill down to the lowest level of instance detail.

IBM Business Process Manager including IBM Process Designer and IBM Integration Designer
This product version includes the following enhancements:
- Includes a revamped IBM Business Process Manager Process Portal, which delivers a highly collaborative work experience with increased social capabilities and visibility for knowledge workers
- Includes a new Coach Designer that has the ability to create and reuse custom, user-defined Coach controls, sections, and templates.
- Includes new IBM Business Process Manager application capability for use with Apple iPhone and iPad, which extends process applications to process participants on-the-go
- Provides enhanced governance capabilities including user-defined processes for snapshots and deployment events. It also provides managed links to artifacts that are managed by Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration (OSLC)-enabled content providers.
- Supports multiple Process Centers and includes the ability to search and share content between process centers
- Includes the built-in ability to interact with documents in enterprise content management systems using Content Management Interoperability Services (CMIS)
- Expands the REST/JSON application programming interface (API) for mobile application development

IBM Business Process Manager for z/OS
This product version includes the following enhancements:

- The ability to collocate with existing z/OS programs and services, CICS, IMS, DB2, WebSphere MQ, and batch applications and data to help optimize process integration
- The ability to wrap existing System z applications with business processes to get immediate value
- Increment modernization of your enterprise to maximize the agility in zEnterprise core business applications
- Business Process Management principles and iterative change methodology
- Easy-to-use business process design environment to incrementally add process orchestration to legacy solutions.
- Optimized knowledge and skills with standards such as Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN), Business Process Execution Language (BPEL), and Business Action Language (BAL) for business rules. - Provides auto-generated dashboards with key performance indicators (KPIs), instance data, diagrams, alerts, and Cognos BI reports for any monitor model
- Includes an ability to define Cognos Business Intelligence (BI) dimensional reports at authoring time
- Provides a simplified authoring experience when defining end-to-end monitoring where event sources span systems/products and do not share a common key
- Includes an improved time-based Service Level Agreement (SLA) violation detection for situations that occur at a specific time of day or after a specified amount of time
