Problem(Abstract)
have upgraded to NetView v6r1, and now Transient job status is not updated for IEF403I and IEF404I in System Automation.
Symptom
Transient jobs got to STARTED2 status or STOPPED status when they should show AVAILABLE or ENDED.
Cause
Changes to NetView SSI processing in v6r1 to handle Canzlog changes.
Diagnosing the problem
Transient jobs not trapping on IEF403I or IEF404I to show they have started or ended.
Resolving the problem
BR AOFMSGSY in NetView, and search for AOFSIRTASK.
It should look like this:
SYN %AOFSIRTASK% = '''CNMCSSIR''';
If it is not set to CNMCSSIR, then please review OA35900 and see if it
was applied. It is a NetView v6r1 toleration ptf for SA 3.3.
