Why does the link status in the LMI show an incorrect status on your firmware 4.3 GX3002 appliance?
In firmware 4.3, the local CRM.db is not updated correctly with an adapter status when the port is suspended from link propagation. As a result, the statuses in the CRM.db can become out of sync with the actual status of the monitoring interfaces. This is a cosmetic issue and does not affect the function of the device.
There is a fix available in the CRM/CSF/LMI patch 13 or greater. Please contact IBM Security Systems Technical Support if you need the patch.
