REMEDIATION:
The DB2® Administration Server (DAS) is a control point used only to assist with tasks on DB2 database instances. You need DAS if you want to use available tools like the Configuration Assistant, the Control Center, or the Development Center. If you are not using those features then the vulnerability may be mitigated by stopping DAS.

To stop DAS, you would need to have DAS administration authority.
1. Log in as an account or user ID that is part of the group defined in the DASADM_GROUP parameter.
2. Stop the DAS using the db2admin command as follows:
db2admin stop

Fix:
The fix for this vulnerability is available for DB2 release V9.1 Fix Pack 12, V9.5 Fix Pack 9 and V9.7 Fix Pack 6.
