DESCRIPTION:

A vulnerability in the IBM DB2 products listed below could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to sent a specially crafted Distributed Relational Database Architecture (DRDA) request to a database server to cause it to crash. The vulnerability exists on all supported platforms.

DB2 Version 9.1 GA through to Version 9.1 Fix Pack 10.
DB2 Version 9.5 GA through to Version 9.5 Fix Pack 8.
DB2 Version 9.7 GA through to Version 9.7 Fix Pack 4.
DB2 Version 9.8 GA through to Version 9.8 Fix Pack 3.

There is no workaround nor mitigation. The fix is available for download and we recommend you apply the appropriate fix.
