App Connect Enterprise classloader trace

Troubleshooting

Problem

Use the following procedure to collect a trace of the Java classes that are loaded by App Connect Enterprise (ACE) and IBM Integration Bus (IIB) at startup.

Resolving The Problem

To collect a trace of the Java classes that are loaded by ACE/IIB components at startup, complete the following steps:
  1. Stop your Integration Node.
  2. Enable tracing by exporting two environment variables:
    export IBM_JAVA_OPTIONS=-Dibm.cl.verbose=*
    export MQSI_DISABLE_MB_PRINTSTREAM=true
  3. Start your Int.Node from the same shell containing the environment variables.
The classloading trace can be disabled by blanking these variables and restarting your Int.Node, or restarting the Int.Node from a shell without the variables.

The classloading trace is written to the Int.Node's/Server's standard output and error files, in the directory $MQSI_WORKPATH$/components/<NODE>.
