container <1>.
Cause
An existing target set for an incremental type flashcopy can only be reused if the background process is already finished.
Resolving the problem
A withdraw can be performed to ensure the target volumes are not in use and available for the INCR flashcopy. If withdraw of the old volumes does not resolve the failure, then manual cleanup is needed.
First ensure that the Tivoli Storage Manager Advanced Copy Services is not running. Then:
1. remove (or rename recommended) the file MatchingList (the MatchingList.sav can also be removed)
2. remove (or rename recommended) the file TargetSetsState (the TargetSetsState.sav can also be removed)
It is important to note that these 2 steps should never be performed when the Tivoli Storage Manager Advanced Copy Services application is actively running.
