The Process Portal for the IBM Business Process Manager (BPM) products does not render properly when using Load Balancer

Resolving The Problem

To resolve the problem, complete the following steps:

1. Shut down all the Java™ virtual machines (JVMs) that are associated with the problematic environment.
   
   
2. Locate the 100Custom.xml file under your config directory.
   
   Sample paths:
• Stand-alone environment:
  C:\Dev\IBM\WebSphere\BPMStd\profiles\PCStd\config\cells\PCCell\nodes\PCNode\servers\server1\process-center\config\100Custom.xml
  
  
• Clustered environment:
  C:\IBM\WebSphere\AppServer\profiles\PCDmgr\config\cells\DMGR03Cell01\nodes\NODE1Node01\servers\AIM.AppTarget.NODE1Node01.0\process-center\config\100Custom.xml
  
  
3. Edit the 100Custom.xml file.
   
   
   Note: For Process Center environments, omit the <teamworks-webapp-prefix> code as it causes problems in the authoring environment.
   
   
   Add following lines to the existing file between the <properties> and </properties> tags. Replace the host name and port values with your environment specific values before adding the code to the XML file. For example: http://NODE1:9081/portal

   Note: You need to modify the 100Custom.xml file on every Process Center Process Server cluster member configuration in a clustered environment. Editing XML files in a deployment manager profile configuration is sufficient. You do not need edit this file on node machines. Changes are pushed to the node machine when you complete the synchronization process.
   
   
   Caution: Make sure that there are no extra characters appended to previous lines of code when you copy it from this document.

• Stand alone environment:
  Bring up your server and check portal page.
  
  
• Clustered environment:
1. Start your Deployment manager and node agents.
   
   
2. Synchronize the nodes.
   
   
3. Start your clustered environment.
   
   
4. Log into the Process Portal and verifythe CSS styling
