Problem(Abstract)
The "ics_manager -IsServerAlive" command returns the message "Unable to connect to the server" even though IBM WebSphere InterChange Server is up and running.
Resolving the problem
Execute ics_manager -IsServerAlive command together with the parameters for the user name (-uUserName) and password (-pPassWord).
