SDS FPClip_SetRetentionHold error reported in IBM Image Services

Problem(Abstract)

When committing documents to IBM Image Services via Single Document Storage (SDS), users receive a SetRetentionHold error

Symptom

The following error is reported in the Image Services elog:

Error from SDSw_close_object_write line=4875 err_msg='FPClip_SetRetentionHold(Clip=123456789012345, Hold Check)    
Note:   Required feature is Not Allowed.Profile or H/W Level            
Problem. Error =-10204, SysErr=0                                        
Trace=FPClip::SetRetentionHold(true,SDS_Check)<_FPClip_SetRetentionHold(-,true,SDS_Check)
Mess=The use of this operation is restricted

Cause

This is caused by attempting to commit a document with an invalid document class retention date

Resolving the problem

Correct the document class retention settings of the documents which are reporting the committal failure, and recommit them.
