Inbox Column headers not sortable on Mac client

Problem

Mac - Inbox Column headers are not clickable

Symptom

A user using Lotus Notes 8.5.3 on Mac OS X 10.7.2 will see the column headers in the inbox (Who, Subject, Date , Size) and can highlight them but the columns do not respond to clicks. The user has a secondary display and if the Lotus Notes window is on the secondary display the columns aren't clickable. However if they move it back to the primary display it is clickable.


Environment

Lotus Notes 8.5.3 , Mac OSx 10.7.x

Diagnosing the problem

The issue occurs when the secondary display is to the LEFT of the primary display. The issue does not occur if the secondary display is to the RIGHT of the primary.

In addition, it occurs if the secondary display is ABOVE the primary display.


Resolving the problem

Lotus Development is aware of the issue. Currently the only workaround is to position the secondary monitor to the RIGHT of the primary.
