when using -h flag with sysback backup commands, or using "Backup Data Hostname"
within smit sysback backup menu, you received:
The file access permissions do not allow the specified action.
/usr/bin/ksh: /tmp/729340devlistfile: 0403-005 Cannot create the specified file.
chkdev: There is no process to read data written to a pipe.
FAILURE: System backup failed to complete.
This error is recieved when backing up to a local device or directory
and entering the local aix hostname with the -h flag or
within the "Backup Data Hostname" option within smit.
This option is used when backing up to a device on a target
sysback server and not when backing up to a local device.
Resolving the problem
When backing up to a local device or directory, do not specify the -h flag
from the command line or "Backup Data Hostname" option within smit.
