Problem
The application has encountered a non-recoverable error and is about to close. Please contact your system administrator for assistance Error message Fatal Error BmtActionsHelper.cpp(500): CCLUnknownError: CCL_RETHROW: BmtActionsHelper.cpp::DoAction
Cause
In one instance, the FM user does not have full access to Framework Manager install files under the folder cognos\c10\configuration\
Environment
windows 2008, windows 2003, windows 7
Resolving The Problem
Framework Manager users need to have read and write access permission on FM installs directory
Grant access permissions to these folders
Step 1: Open Windows Explorer by right-clicking on the Start menu and selecting Explore.
Step 2: On FM installs Navigate to folder on the hard drive, e.g.:C:Program Files\ibm\cognos\c10.1\configuration
Step 3: Right-click the folder, select Properties, and then select the Security tab.
Note: if you don't see the Security tab, turn off Simple File Sharing in Tools>>Folder Options.
Step 4: Make sure it has read and write access for the FM users, click Apply, and then click OK.
