End of Service announcement for IBM ILOG Diagram for .NET

Overview

Previously, IBM released major updates to this product in June, 2009. At that time, version 2.0 IBM ILOG Diagram for .NET was released. This product has been actively maintained since that time, with ongoing support and bug fixes.

As of February 2012, IBM does not intend to deliver any further major or minor releases (i.e., new features) of this product. In addition, IBM will end the sale of product licenses and corresponding maintenance renewals. The product will continue to be maintained, however, according to table below.

Replacement Products

Although there is no direct replacement for these products (working on the .NET platform), there are other products in the IBM ILOG product portfolio covering the same functional area.

For Java and Web technologies there is IBM ILOG JViews Enterprise, which provides both Java components and Dojo Diagrammer web components. For Adobe Flash/Flex, there is IBM ILOG Elixir Enterprise.

Both offer diagramming component that could replace similar functions of the discontinued Diagram for .NET prodcut.
