Software withdrawal and support discontinuance: IBM FileNet Report Manager - Replacement available

Q. When will Report Manager be withdrawn from the market/sales?
A. 12/14/10. This is the last day customers can purchase Report Manager Licenses. S&S charges will be pro-rated till 30 Sept 2011.

Q. When will Report Manager be withdrawn?
A. 30 Sept 2011. This was the last day customers could obtain standard support.

Q. What is the recommended replacement product?
A. IBM Content Manager OnDemand is the replacement product. If the customer wishes to trade-up parts (e.g., 55% discount off CMOD list).

    A 'free' Lab Services migration assessment is also available. Please contact your IBM representative for more information

Q. Is this a no-charge license upgrade?
A. No. Since Report Manager to Content Manager OnDemand Trade-up parts are no longer available, we can offer a discount off the standard CMOD price equivalent to the discount previously offered by the Trade-up parts. (e.g., 55% discount off CMOD list). .

Q. When do customers see the CM OnDemand product listed under their entitlements in Passport Advantage?
A. Customers will not see the CM OnDemand product listed under entitlements until they purchase the CM OnDemand parts.

Q. What options exist for customers that cannot move off of Report Manager by this time?
A. Extended support is available till September 2012. Please contact your IBM representative for more information.
