Abstract

This document describes how to modify the port where the Rational RequisitePro native client help (Contents and Index) is published.

Content

By default, the Rational RequisitePro client for Windows help is published on the 8080 port. Follow these steps to change the port assignment:

  1. Open the help_start.bat file in a text editor. This file is located by default in the following directory:
    C:\Program Files\IBM\RationalSDLC\RequisitePro\help\reqpro_help\
  2. Modify the "port" parameter value and set it to an available port number in your environment.
  3. Save and close the file.
  4. Reboot your system in order to apply the changes.
