OpConsole shows Equivalency in "ERROR"

This is an issue with the way the Equivalency status is reported through the samadapter and this issue has been resolved in FP6 of TSAMP 3.1. Please refer to APAR IZ63201:

Environment:
TSAMP Adapter communicating to TSAAM (v3.1)


Problem:
When an equivalency is made of shadow resources, and the
resources are down, TSAAM indicates that the equivalencies are
in ERROR instead of OFFLINE. TSAMP shows the equivalencies as
being offline. Offline equivalencies should not show in ERROR
in TSAAM.

The problem as confirmed by Development is within the TSAMP
Automation Adapter which is not performing good state mapping.

PROBLEM SUMMARY

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
* When an equivalency is made of shadow resources, and those
* resources are OFFLINE, the operations console indicates that
* the operational state of the equivalency is in ERROR instead
* of OK. System Automation for Multiplatforms commands show the
* equivalency correctly as being OFFLINE with no errors.
* The problem is caused by a wrong mapping of states in the
* System Automation for Multiplatforms automation adapter, which
* propagates the operational state of the resources to the
* operations console of System Automation Application Manager or
* the base operations console.
* Due to the wrong mapping equivalencies containing shadow
* resources are displayed in ERROR in case all shadow resources
* are OFFLINE.

PROBLEM CONCLUSION
The state mapping of the System Automation for Multiplatforms
automation adapter has been modified to address this issue. Now
the operational state of an equivalency with shadow resources is
shown as OK on the System Automation Application Manager
operations console and the base operations console in case all
shadow resources of the equivalency are OFFLINE.
