Abstract
A problem has been identified where reports that are based on PowerCubes will not run successfully in Cognos Business Intelligence 10.1.1. This problem affects French, Danish, Dutch, Norwegian, Swedish, Spanish, Russian, Czech, and Traditional Chinese customers that use PowerCubes. The error(s) will occur when attempting to run the report in Report Studio, Query Studio, Analysis Studio, Business Insight, Business Insight Advanced, and Business Intelligence for Excel.

Each time the query engine connects to a PowerCube it dynamically generates a set of metadata based on the cube contents.
This metadata is as set of strings such as [Cube].[Dimension].[Member].
These strings are stored in reports in the form, above.
The Query engine generates localized metadata strings as necessary. One of the [ ] qualifiers in the string is the name of the measures folder. For example. we might see a string such as [Cube].[Measures].[Revenue]
In the languages listed above, the measure folder name used in Cognos BI 8.X 10.1.0 was "Measure_Default" (translated to the appropriate language). In the other languages the measure folder name is "Measures". In Cognos BI 10.1.1 the folder was named Measures in all languages for consistency. This situation also affects:

Two APARs have been logged for this issue:
PM51487 - Differences in Spanish translations for "Short name"
PM51788 - Default measure name for PowerCubes is incomplete for Dutch content languages and results in QE-DEF-0030, QE-DEF-0359 errors
An interim fix is now available on Fix Central that will resolve this problem in existing IBM Cognos BI 10.1.1 installations. For new installations or upgrades, download IBM Cognos BI 10.1.1 from Passport Advantage or FCT as appropriate.
