IBM InfoSphere Streams Studio V2.0.0.3 does not work properly on Eclipse 3.7.0 or 3.7.1. Update: A fix is now available.

This is a defect introduced by Eclipse 3.7.0 and Eclipse 3.7.1. The launch configuration dialog from Eclipse returns an incorrect return code that causes the launch process to be canceled.

Fix:
With this fix, you will be able to launch Streams applications from Streams Studio running on Eclipse 3.7.0 or Eclipse 3.7.1.

To download the fix, perform the following steps:

1. Go to IBM Fix Central: http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral
2. Specify the following product information:
   • Product Group: Information Management
   • Product: InfoSphere Streams
   • Installed version: All
   • Platform: All
3. Click Continue.
4. In the Identify fixes page, follow one of the following steps to find the fix:
   • Browse for fixes and then look for the following in the results: fix pack: Patch_for_Eclipse-3.7.0_and_3.7.1-Bugzilla_365108
   • Individual fix IDs: Patch_for_Eclipse-3.7.0_and_3.7.1-Bugzilla_365108
5. Click Continue.
6. Select the following fix in the results: fix pack: Patch_for_Eclipse-3.7.0_and_3.7.1-Bugzilla_365108
7. Click Continue.
8. In the Download page, download the following:
   • Fix: Patch_for_Eclipse-3.7.0_and_3.7.1-Bugzilla_365108.tar.gz
   • Readme: Patch_for_Eclipse-3.7.0_and_3.7.1-Bugzilla_365108.readme.txt
9. Follow the instructions in the Readme to install the fix.
