DPR-ERR-2109: The dispatcher cannot service the request

Troubleshooting


Problem

This error message occurs while trying to open Cognos Reports in the Common Reporting Web interface.

Resolving The Problem

1. Please stop the tcr server using stopTCRserver command under the folder <tcr_home>/products/tcr/bin

2. Please open the Cognos configuration using the following command,
<tcr_home>/products/tcr/Cognos/c8/bin/tcr_cogconfig.sh

3. Actions - Edit Global Configuration - General tab

4. Change the Server Time Zone to (GMT+00:00).. and/or make sure your system time zone and the server time zone is the same.

5. Save (if any errors are seen please take a screenshot to share with IBM Support)

6. Start the TCR server using the 'startTCRserver' command under the directory... <tcr_home>/products/tcr/bin

7. Attempt to login again (again if any errors are seen please take a screenshot to share with IBM Support)
