Question
mailman fails to start results in exit rc 1 and preventing the rest of the TWS processes from starting up eg. batchman, jobman
Cause
Mailman process could not locate the file
TWSCCLog.properties
in the $UNISONHOME directory. You can see this clearly by just trying to run it manually
eg.
$UNISONHOME/bin/mailman
CCG0051E The log manager could not read the properties file $UNISONHOME/TWSCCLog.properties.
echo $?
1
Answer
Copy the file
TWSCCLog.properties
from
$UNISONHOME/conf
to
$UNISONHOME
and restart TWS
ie.
StartUp
conman start
[{"Product":{"code":"SSGSPN","label":"IBM Workload Scheduler"},"Business Unit":{"code":"BU053","label":"Cloud & Data Platform"},"Component":"Not Applicable","Platform":[{"code":"PF010","label":"HP-UX"}],"Version":"8.6;9.1;9.2;9.3;9.4","Edition":"","Line of Business":{"code":"LOB45","label":"Automation"}}]
