Problem
Enhancement Request to allow mail delegation be set by folder
Symptom
A Notes Client mail user does not want to provide access to all mail folders, only to certain mail folders, can this be done?
Cause
Delegation cannot be set by mail database folders.
Environment
Notes 8.5.3, Windows XP
Diagnosing the problem
A Notes mail user cannot provide delegation rights by folder, this is either enabled or disabled via the Notes UI.
Resolving the problem
This functionality is not currently available in the IBM Lotus Notes Client. Enhancement Request SPR # MSTS84VC5S / APAR LO51140 was submitted to IBM Notes Development to ask that Notes mail users have the option to provide delegate access to certain mail folders via the Notes UI.
