Problem(Abstract)
Installing SPSS Modeler Desktop 14.2 FP1 and launching the Tutorial with Internet Explorer 9 as the default browser will either:
* not display the navigation arrows or
* display the arrows but clicking is non-responsive
IE9's Developer Tools Utility provides the following error message in the 'Script' tab:
"SCRIPT5007: Unable to get value of the property 'gotoend':
object is null or undefined tutorial.js, line 167 character 3"
IE9 Compatibility mode does not resolve the problem.
Cause
This has been identified as a product defect under APAR PM51085
Environment
Windows 7; 64 bit
Resolving the problem
APAR PM51085 submitted for this issue.
Work around:
Open the Developer Tools Utility window (pressing F12) and switch IE to version 8.
Refresh the Tutorial window and navigation should now work.
