Problem(Abstract)
For pureQuery Runtime Version 3.1, setting pureQuery Runtime property propertiesRefreshInterval does not refresh the pureQuery Runtime data.
Symptom
If you specify the propertiesRefreshInterval property, application performance degrades and pureQuery Runtime does not update the properties or pureQueryXML file.
Cause
For pureQuery Runtime Version 3.1, the pureQuery Runtime property propertiesRefreshInterval cannot be specified to update pureQuery Runtime properties or the pureQueryXML file that are used with an pureQuery application.
Resolving the problem
Applying APAR IC79687, or an update containing this APAR, resolves this issue. You can download the APAR from Fix Central.
To download the fix from Fix Central:
- Select the following and click Continue:
Product Group: Information Management
Product: InfoSphere Optim pureQuery Runtime for Linux, UNIX and Windows
Installed Version 3.1
Platform: All - On Identify fixes, select Browse for fixes and click Continue.
- On Select fixes, select the fixes to download and click Continue.
The fix readme file contains installation instructions.
If you do not apply the APAR, do not specify the pureQuery Runtime property propertiesRefreshInterval.
Stop and restart the application to refresh the pureQuery Runtime properties and pureQueryXML file that are used by the application.
