Maximo 7.5 install fails with error CTGIN2275E: WebSphere thin admin client installation verification

Problem

After migrating Websphere 6.0.x to Websphere 7.0.x and installing Maximo 7.5 you get the error CTGIN2275E: WebSphere thin admin client installation verification completed with errors.; CWPKI0022E: SSL HANDSHAKE FAILURE:

Symptom

Receive error - CTGIN2275E: WebSphere thin admin client installation verification

completed with errors.;

Resolving The Problem

On the new WAS 7 server, please save a backup of

<WASInstallDir>/profiles/ctgDmgr01/etc/trust.p12 file to trust.p12.orig

and then copy

<WASInstallDir>/profiles/ctgDmgr01/config/cells/ctgCell01/trust.p12 to

<WASInstallDir>/profiles/ctgDmgr01/etc/trust.p12. Make sure the

....\temp\1\wasclient directory has been

removed, and retry the install.
