Running Floating License Usage Report results in "No License Usage data found"
Attempts to run Floating License Usage report in IBM Rational Team Concert results in "No license usage data found" error when users have been signing on with floating licenses.
After navigating to the Reports page for Licensing and running the reports, the following message is displayed, despite the fact that users have been logging in and utilizing their floating licenses capabilities.
No License usage data found
No License denials were found
License Usage Comparison
No license usage data found
The data mart collection job has not been run to obtain the license information.
Resolving the problem
The Data Mart and Data Warehouse collection jobs will collect information regarding to Licensing.
This job is associated with the Data Mart and Data Warehouse, and one will need to be configured to run the data collection jobs.
In order to allow the 'Floating License Usage' reports, you will need to
- Navigate to the Reports Management page https://
- Run the License Data Mart collection job, or, run the Data Warehouse Collection job.
The data collection job will collect all the information pertaining to licenses and will populate the Reports page. After the job has been run, navigate back to the Floating License Usage Reports page on the web UI and run the report. The corresponding License Usage, License Denials and License Usage Comparison charts will now be available.
