Abstract

Changing Visibility of types via the Features window affects the visibility of all types within the model in IBM Rational Rhapsody 7.5.3 and newer.

Flash: APAR PM46925 - Features dialogue: Type Visibility - affects all elements when changed.

A problem has been identified as APAR id PM46925 with the use of the new visibility field for model types introduced in Rational Rhapsody 7.5.3 on the Features window. Changes in this field are applied to all types within the model and subsequent new ones created thereafter.

Model attributes are unaffected.

Workaround:

Use the visibility property directly for the type:

CPP_CG::Type::Visibility

This defect has been fixed in Rhapsody 7.5.3.2 and is available for download.
