Environment

Domino 32 bit server 852FP3 on 64 bit windows (Windows/2003 R2 5.2 [64-bit] )

Resolving the problem

This problem is caused by a 32-bit Domino server on 64-bit Windows platform limited to 2GB address space, where as it should be able to address more memory with 4GB virtual memory available.

Due to earlier performance issues on the Domino server on 32-bit Windows, ConstrainedSHM=1 was set in the NOTES.INI. This; however, limited the available address space to 2GB.

Remove ConstrainedSHM=1 from the NOTES.INI to resolve the issue
