Analyst failed to communicate with the Content Manager database
Error when attempting to update a Dlist or attempting to view connection information between
No file space left on the server.
Diagnosing the problem
When attempting to update a Dlist you should get the message
"Analyst failed to communicate with the Content Manager database.
This can happen if the IBM Cognos 8 Planning service is not running.
Please check that this service is running.
Unable to retrieve user information for the user that has logged on."
If you also run the ' Deployment Wizard' from the Contributor Administration Console when you get to the 'Export Object Selection' section, instead of seeing the Analyst libraries you will see the message
"Unable to list Analyst libraries"
"8004070d:Failed to logon with ticket. Error Code 1008 E1008Failed to logon to CAM..."
Resolving the problem
Release file space or increase file space on the server.
