You receive error messages after entering your password, and the Notes client shuts down.
Resolving the problem
You are able to bring the user's id file to another workstation and not reproduce the issue. Using only the user's id file on a clean install on this same workstation will still reproduce the issue, even after removing the private key for Notes Shared Login, located in the directory C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application Data\IBM\Lotus Notes.
In this case, recreating the user's Windows profile resolved the issue.
