Problem(Abstract)

For instructions on how to turn on debug/verbose logging for Tivoli Endpoint Manager for Security and Compliance (SCA);

Resolving the problem

Pre-requisites

  • You have started the TEMAnalytics service at least once.
  • You have file system access to the TEMA server.
Instructions
  1. Using a text editor, open the file \work\tema\webapp\WEB-INF\config\environments\production.rb

  2. (e.g. C:\Program Files (x86)\BigFix Enterprise\TEMA\work\tema\webapp\WEB-INF\config\environments)

  3. change line config.log_level = :info to # See everything in the log (default is :info)

    config.log_level = java.lang.System.getProperty("TEMA_LOG_DEBUG") ? :debug : :debug

  4. Save the file and restart the service. Your \log\tema.log file will contain request parameters, and database queries.
