Resolving the problem

The problem is most likely caused by a firewall or proxy that is interfering with communication to the BigFix servers. Make sure that you can contact the Internet. In particular make sure you can contact http://www.bigfix.com. Make sure that you firewall/proxy does NOT strip out unknown HTTP headers.

The BigFix Evaluation version registration process (and the BigFix Server itself) uses specific HTTP headers that are required to be able to go through the firewall for the system to work properly. If you are using a proxy server please contact your sales representative to obtain a production copy.
