Reasons for File Upload Wizard hanging while uploading a file

Some files will cause the upload manager to hang in the TEM Console.

Resolving the problem

To work around the problem you can try these two options:

  1. Change the size of the file being uploaded if possible. Try removing extra characters if it is a text file or compressing the file prior to the upload.
  2. Wait until the TEM Console hangs with the upload window open. Go to the Main TEM Server and restart the BES Root Server service, you should see your upload complete after cycling the service.
    Note: Do NOT manually stop and then start the service, do a service restart.
